As per the reports Kate Middleton has contacted Meghan Markle over the circulating allegations of racism against the royal family. During her and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah, Meghan claimed a senior royal expressed concerns about their son Archie’s skin tone, which became a significant point of contention between the families.

 

Kate’s Role as Peacemaker

Royal author Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame” named Kate Middleton and King Charles among those allegedly involved in the racism scandal. Following these claims, a source revealed that Princess Kate reached out to Meghan to discuss the controversy, “Shortly after the book’s allegations came out, Kate reached out to Meghan to clear the air,” an insider told In Touch Weekly. It is believed that King Charles asked Kate to act as a mediator after Prince William refused to engage.

 

Ongoing Tension Within the Royal Family

Despite Kate’s attempt to ease tensions, the feud continues to affect the royal family’s reputation, overshadowing King Charles’ reign. “In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time … so we have in tandem the conversation of ‘He won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan said at the time. The royal family has responded to the racism accusations, stating that while some recollections may vary, they are taken seriously and will be addressed privately.
