Rajput leader Raj Shekhawat on Sunday issued a strong warning to the producers of Pushpa 2, accusing the film of insulting the ‘Kshatriya’ community.
In a post on X, Shekhawat said, “Pushpa 2 movie has a negative role of ‘Shekhawat,’ again insult to Kshatriyas, Karni Sainiks be ready, the producer of the movie will be thrashed soon.”
Shekhawat alleged that the repeated use of the name “Shekhawat” in a negative context in the movie dishonored the community. He demanded that the makers remove the word from the film.
“The movie has done grave insult to Kshatriyas. The ‘Shekhawat’ community has been presented in a poor light. This industry has been insulting the Kshatriyas in the name of freedom of speech, and they have again done the same thing,” he stated in a video message.

Further escalating his remarks, he warned, “The makers of the movie should remove the continuous use of ‘Shekhawat’ word from the movie, or else, the Karni Sena will thrash them inside their house and will go to any limits as required.”
Meanwhile, the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2 continues to dominate the box office. Cinema halls have been witnessing ‘housefull’ shows ever since the film’s release on Thursday.
According to the team of Pushpa 2, the film amassed a staggering ₹294 crore globally on its opening day.
With this massive haul, Pushpa 2 broke the opening day record set by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan in the Hindi language and surpassed RRR’s ₹156 crore record to become the biggest domestic opener ever.
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film sees Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, respectively.
Allu Arjun, the lead actor, won a National Film Award for his performance in the first installment of Pushpa. The first part, also directed by Sukumar, revolved around power struggles and red sandalwood smuggling, setting the stage for its blockbuster sequel.
