Diljit Dosanjh Assures Russian Fan’s Safety at Delhi Concert: ‘These Are All Your Brothers’

Diljit Dosanjh made a thrilling entrance at the Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium in Delhi, igniting the crowd and launching his much-anticipated Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024. While several memorable moments filled the concert, one in particular left the audience pleasantly surprised.

Russian Fan Spotted

During the performance, Diljit noticed a fan in the crowd and asked about her origin. When she replied, “Russia,” the Punjabi star humorously assured her, “These are all your brothers,” pointing to the crowd. He then invited her onstage and surprised her with a suitcase as a gift, much to the delight of the attendees.

Dil-Luminati Tour’s Delhi Spectacle

This first concert of two scheduled shows in Delhi over the weekend saw Dosanjh captivating thousands with hits like Lover, 5 Taara, Do You Know, and Ikk Kudi. Decked out in an all-black ensemble with a black turban and sunglasses, he began the show by waving the national flag, saluting it in a gesture that drew roaring applause.

Expressing gratitude, Diljit told his fans, “Delhi, we had a full house; we sold out. We got permission only for this much; otherwise, we would have done it for three days in a row with a stage at the centre. Thank you guys; I appreciate it.”

Following his encore at JLN Stadium on Sunday, October 27, the Dil-Luminati Tour will continue to nine more Indian cities throughout November. The grand finale is planned for Mumbai, with the exact date yet to be announced.
