Veer is the grandson of Maharashtra's former Chief Minister and Union Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. His father is businessman Sanjay Pahariya, and his mother is media entrepreneur Smruti Shinde. His brother, Shikhar Pahariya, is popular in social circles as well.
Veer's educational background is multinational. He graduated from the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and went on to have his higher studies in the United States and the United Kingdom.
