After being rumored to be dating one another for years, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are now finally engaged and the engagement took place at Vijay’s residence in Hyderabad in an intimate setting, attended only by close family members. While the news of their engagement did the rounds on social media on Friday.
The news regarding Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika's engagement is still under wraps. His team, however, asserted that the couple will get married in February 2026. Rashmika and Vijay have not posted anything nor made any public announcement regarding their engagement.

Rashmika and Vijay were speculated to be dating each other from the time they collaborated for the first time in the 2018 blockbuster Geetha Govindam and the 2019 film Dear Comrade. Vijay and Rashmika have frequently been seen together. They headed the 43rd India Day Parade in New York in August. They also appeared at an event called Bharat Beyond Borders. Eagle-eyed fans have long spotted the actors posting holiday photos from the same destinations. That further fueled the speculation that they are dating but not ready to go public.
In 2024, they had confirmed they were not alone but did not mention their partners' names. Recently, the couple rumored to have been together were spotted exiting the airport together in the same vehicle, which made fans wonder if they are ready to go public with their relationship.
Rashmika was recently featured in the movie Kuberaa, which also starred Dhanush and Nagarjuna. She'll then be part of Maddock's horror-comedy world film called Thamma. The movie also features Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal in lead roles. It is set to hit the theaters on Diwali 2025. She is also part of Cocktail 2 along with Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor. Her fans will get to see her in Rahul Ravindran's The Girlfriend and Rawindra Pulle's Mysaa as well.
Vijay was last spotted in Kingdom, starring alongside Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse in pivotal roles. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas produced it under the banners of Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
