Vijay Deverakonda is a Telugu film actor, had a close brush with injury when his vehicle collided with another vehicle in the Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana on Monday while returning to Hyderabad after a trip to Puttaparthi. Some vehicle slammed his car into the rear fortunately he and his family members were fine and he returned home without injuries and without pain.
Eyewitnesses and media reports state that the actor went traveling with his family when a Bolero car making an unexpected right turn collided with the car and the impact caused slight damage but without injury. The family led by the actor opted for another vehicle and resumed the travel to Hyderabad. His driver has since lodged a complaint at the local police who have registered a case and initiated inquiry into the incident.

Clips showcasing the damaged Lexus LM 350h AWD worth over Rs. 2 crores have spread everywhere on social media adding more spice to the curiosity of the public is the purported timing of the accident apparently, Vijay was returning from visiting the samadhi of Sathya Sai Baba at Puttaparthi. Thus, while the actor was saved from any injury, the event set off the flurry of action from fans and media blending life and drama in a visual and cinematic world.

Just a couple of days before the accident, Vijay and co-actor Rashmika Mandanna were engaged, as per news reports in a private ceremony with their immediate family and friends. The revelation made public by his team, made headlines and not so long after, he went to the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Ashram in Puttaparthi to display his engagement ring.
Speculations about their relationship arose after their collaborative films, Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Whispers about getting married and suggest a possible February 2026 wedding but the couple hasn't publicly confirmed.
Vijay's latest movie Kingdom has just been released on Netflix in all Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. On the other hand, Rashmika is gearing up for her next film Thamma opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to release October 21. Cocktail 2 is another film lined up in which she stars opposite Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
