Hollywood’s new power couple has ended the romance. Famous star Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have ended things after less than nine months of romance. The couple, who were first spotted as a couple back in February, have decided to go their separate ways on amicable terms after acknowledging that “the spark had gone.”
The Couple has Run its Course
One close to the stars revealed to The Sun, “Tom and Ana had fun together, but their relationship has come to an end. They will remain friends, but they aren’t an item anymore. They simply realized they weren’t going to last the distance and are happier as pals.”
The news is a shock to the fans, particularly considering there have been rumors of an engagement. The two were even rumored to be set to star in a movie together. Even in the aftermath of their breakup, the two actors are said to be taking things like grown-ups. “She’s already been lined up for his next movie, so they’ll still be working together,” the insider continued.
Tom and Ana were to star together in the forthcoming supernatural horror Deeper, which has been put on hold. They were also supposed to team up again for Pressure.
Their romance went public earlier this year when they were seen holding hands on a cuddly Vermont weekend away. From romantic holidays in Madrid and London to glamorous turns on the red carpet at David Beckham’s 50th birthday party and an Oasis gig at Wembley Stadium, the couple’s whirlwind romance had fans believing it was on.
