The fast-paced Baaghi franchise is getting ready to return after a five-year hiatus. On September 5, the fourth installment, which stars Tiger Shroff and was directed by A Harsha, will be released in theaters. With a cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu, the movie is expected to provide the same thrilling action that has characterized the series since its premiere in 2016.
Once again, Bollywood action saga Baaghi 4 is making noise as producer Sajid Nadiadwala announces a teaser to be released on August 11. Branded the most intense edition of the franchise, the teaser intends on giving an immediate, tell-it-like-it-is peek into the much darker world of Baaghi's universe.
While Tiger Shroff continues to take on his tough role as Ronnie, he is pushed into an emotional curve that requires much more raw physicality. Opposite him is Sanjay Dutt as an intimidating and deep-meshed antagonist. There are fresh faces, such as Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu making her way into the film industry. Sonam Bajwa is also joining the cast, adding another interesting dimension to the story.
Tiger wrapped up the film's production and gave supporters a personal greeting to commemorate the occasion. "And finally it comes to an end … thank you for all your love and allowing this franchise to reach so far," he wrote on Instagram, sharing behind-the-scenes photos. I don't believe I've ever shed so much blood for a movie. This one is for you and will arrive soon.
Baaghi 4, directed by A. Harsha, does not repeat the template of its predecessors but is more down-to-earth and emotionally resonant. This new chapter is meant to redefine the franchise in terms of action and emotions, not a mere remake, as Harsha puts it.
The teaser has already cleared the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) lending it an 'A' rating marking it for adult themes and violence of a high intensity. 1 minute and 53 seconds long, the preview promises something a lot brutal, non-flinching, unlike anything else seen in the series before. The entire movie is going to hit theatres on September 5, 2025.
