According to Ron Shuter’s Naughty But Nice newsletter, Meghan Markle was distraught after her meticulously planned rollout for season 2 of “With Love, Meghan” was sidelined by Swift’s announcement. Both Markle’s and Swift’s announcements were made on August 12th, with Swift taking most of the media attention.
Meghan Markle Believes Taylor Swift Sabotaged Her Announcement
According to an insider, Megan believes that Taylor Swift’s Life of a Showgirl announcement was more than just a coincidence.
The insider told Radar Online that, “Meghan’s convinced it wasn’t just her bad luck.”
Radar Online quoted the insider saying, “Meghan thought her trailer would own global headlines. Instead, all anyone talked about that day was Taylor’s new music.”

Another insider also shared that they quickly dismissed Markle’s thoughts on the situation. They said that Markle isn’t on the level where Taylor Swift would know or care about her Netflix series.
“Meghan genuinely thinks Taylor hijacked her announcement – but she wouldn’t even have known, or cared, about it. Meghan isn’t on her radar, or in her orbit. She’s a deluded no-mark desperate to be a celeb like Taylor.”

Despite a non-ideal rollout, the trailer for Meghan’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan season 2 was released on 12th August.
Upon release, the trailer received a lot of negative reviews and was the subject of a lot of roasts. The overall sentiment towards the series is negative, with its upcoming season generating little to no excitement among audiences. Season 2 of Markle’s Netflix series is set to premiere on August 26.
