Sunita Ahuja, wife of Govinda, was deeply and personally distressed and affectionately concerned to know about Dharmendra’s health scare.

She also confessed to having been in tears while receiving the news regarding the condition of the veteran actor in the ICU, remembering that at that time she was on her way to some event in Dubai.

Sunita called him her “jaan” and fondly remembered sharing a stage with him, saying that he has always been her “childhood crush.”

She said that he is the only “He-Man” of the film industry, and as a Punjabi, he would never give up. Her public prayers for his long life showed her genuine and deep-seated admiration for the actor.

Dharmendra Health Update

The Bollywood fans were relieved when the 89-year-old actor Dharmendra, who was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, was recently discharged and is recovering at home. As per a few reports, he was admitted after he complained of feeling breathless.

Although initial reports on October 31 said he was admitted for a routine check-up, his health started becoming the cause of widespread concern.

Amid an inflow of unconfirmed rumors and fake news, including reports that he was in critical condition and had been put on a ventilator, the family intervened to issue an official update.

His daughter Esha Deol took to social media and refuted the rumors, claiming her father was stable and recovering.

She appealed to the public and the media to stop spreading rumors and let the family have their private moments. Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, criticized the “irresponsible” media coverage.

After days of observation and treatment at the hospital, Dharmendra was discharged on Wednesday morning, with a statement confirming he would continue his recovery and treatment at home.

The family requested privacy, grateful for the love and prayers received from fans across the world for the film industry’s beloved “He-Man.”

Why Sunita Ahuja Cried for Dharmendra, Not Govind

Sunita Ahuja’s regard for Dharmendra is born from an intensely personal, lifelong admiration right from her childhood.

She considers the veteran actor a lot more than a colleague; to her, he is the ultimate inspiration and her first love in childhood, making his place higher than just any other acquaintance in the industry.

This intense feeling explains the raw, immediate emotional breakdown she experienced upon hearing unconfirmed news of his critical health.

To Sunita, Dharmendra embodies the ultimate in Bollywood’s “He-Man” era a meld of masculinity, goodness, and grace that she has always idolized.

That enduring respect is strong enough that she publicly said one of the reasons she decided to marry Govinda was because he resembled the senior actor. News of her idol’s hospitalization broke as a sudden, shocking threat to a figure she holds in the highest regard, which prompted a primal, heartbroken reaction.

The slightly later health incident of her husband, Govinda, reportedly due to fatigue, naturally drew her attention and care, but it lacked the traumatic, childhood-crush connection that Dharmendra’s sudden news triggered.
