Spiritual leader and motivational speaker Jaya Kishori on Monday unveiled her book titled It’s Okay in Gurugram in the presence of bestselling author Chetan Bhagat and Vishvendra, founder of VYGR Media & Publishing. The event was attended by a large number of fans and media persons. The book, she said, is dedicated to young individuals who often feel lonely and unheard.
A Voice for Today’s Youth
Jaya Kishori, known for her soulful katha and discourses, said that the idea behind writing this book was to reach out to the youth who often feel isolated. “It’s Okay is for everyone who has at some point in their life experienced mental and emotional pain, and felt the need for a helping hand,” said Kishori.

She said that during her katha sessions and motivational speeches, she had met and interacted with countless individuals who shared their stories of struggle. “These stories, coupled with my own life experiences, shaped this book. It is not just a book, it is a companion that tells you that your feelings are valid and you are not alone,” she added.
Chetan Bhagat’s Endorsement
Chetan Bhagat, who has himself been a guiding voice for India’s youth through his novels and columns, appreciated Jaya Kishori’s effort. “It’s a beautiful initiative. In today’s world, where mental health is finally getting the attention it deserves, books like this can truly make a difference,” he said.

A Journey of Empathy and Healing
The book blends personal anecdotes, spiritual wisdom, and practical advice. It aims to instill confidence, foster resilience, and most importantly, remind readers that feeling low is okay, and asking for help is okay too.
Jaya Kishori signed copies of her book and interacted with readers after the launch. When asked about the title, she said, “It’s a phrase we don’t hear enough. In a world that is constantly asking us to do more and be more, It’s Okay is a pause – a breath – reminding us to be kind to ourselves.”
