Last Friday also saw the clash between two popular anime movies, Shin Chan The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India and Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. Directed by Masakazu Hashimoto, this 33rd Crayon Shin-chan film transports Shinnosuke Nohara and the Kasukabe Guard to India for a dance competition. A cursed "nose" backpack possesses Bo-chan, unleashing tyrannical chaos amid Bollywood-inspired antics. MAPPA's Tatsuya Yoshihara adaptation dives into Tatsuki Fujimoto's dark arc, where Denji's café's flirtation with Reze spirals into betrayal and devilish gore. Voiced by Kikunosuke Toya (Denji) and Reina Ueda (Reze), it's in Japanese with Hindi dubs via Sony Pictures, screened in IMAX for thrills.

Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Movie vs Shin Chan The Spicy Kusakabe Dancers Box Office Collection

Shin Chan opened to a strong box office collection of ₹0.58 crore, according to reports published by Sacnilk. It sold an additional ₹79 lakh of tickets on day 2, taking the movie's total to ₹1.37 crore at the end of day 2. 

On the other side, the Chainsaw Man Reze Arc movie did ₹50 lakh in its first day of sales. It added another ₹74 lakh to its total on day 2, showing a healthy jump in occupancy on its first Saturday. The film sits at a box office total of ₹1.24 crore at the end of day 2.

In comparison, both movies show similar collections at the end of their second ay 2 at Indian theatres. Although their numbers don't compare to the box office monster Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie, which had collected an estimated ₹25 crores in two days.
