Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 23 (ANI): On Thursday, actor Sara Ali Khan publicly addressed the ongoing protests linked to the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak by sharing a message focused on students and youth as demonstrations continued in Delhi.
Sara Ali Khan posted a heartfelt note on her Instagram handle expressing solidarity with students and young people participating in the protest.
In her message, the actor described the youth as the country’s future and voiced confidence that justice would be delivered.
“Our students are our future and their future tugs at the very heart of our nation. Their resolve burns like a quiet, unquenchable flame that brings tears to my eyes, reminding us that true patriotism beats in the brave hearts of those who dare to stand up for what they believe in. Their courage and determination to seek a better and safer future is both inspiring and stirring; a powerful awakening of our shared conscience. We must listen to them with open hearts, care deeply and walk beside them. Their dreams are woven into ours. Our dreams live in theirs. As an optimistic patriot, I have immense faith that our government will deliver justice,” she wrote on Instagram.
Her statement comes amid the ongoing youth-led Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests in Delhi demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak.
Veteran actor Mammootty also shared a message on his X handle in support of young people, calling them the nation’s greatest asset and urging that their concerns be heard.
“The youth are the true treasure of our nation. Listen to their voices. Protect them. Empower them,” he wrote on X.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan addressed the students.
In his post on X, Salman Khan reassured students that their education and security remained a priority, expressed confidence that strict action would be taken against those responsible for the alleged paper leak, and appealed to protesters to return home.
He also made a personal appeal to activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is on a prolonged hunger strike supporting the youth-led Cockroach Janta Party movement.
“The students are at top priority, educationally n security-wise, so they need not worry and have their parents worried for them. The Honorable Prime Minister has tweeted, and I am sure that he will take strict action against all those people who are responsible for this leak. So students, plz go back to your parents n homes. Sonam, it’s done, bro. Don’t extend this. Keep the spirit for another day if there be a need, which I doubt, n eat something. If u want, will send u food from home,” Salman Khan wrote.
Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court agreed to hear on Friday a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the July 20 ‘Sansad Chalo’ protest called by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET paper leak.
The Delhi High Court has also issued notices to the Centre and Delhi Police on petitions alleging excessive use of force and directed authorities to preserve CCTV footage and other electronic evidence related to the incident. (ANI)
