Bollywood star Ranveer Singh recently found himself in the eye of a social media storm over a viral video in which he was seen emulating a scene from the Kannada box office hit Kantara.
The actor, attending the International Film Festival of India in Goa, took to the stage and carried out the mimicry, where he referred to the ‘Chaundi Daiva,’ sister of Guliga Daiva, as the “female ghost.”
The viral clip shows Ranveer doing a dramatic performance, eyes crossed and his tongue out, finishing with his signature energetic scream. But while Kantara director Rishab Shetty was seen laughing, the reaction from fans and netizens was far from amused.
