Actor Huma Qureshi and acting coach Rachit Singh, who got engaged last month, attended events in Mumbai for the first time on Saturday evening. There were a number of videos and images of the two arriving together at the events that surfaced online.
The couple came to the screening of Thamma hand in hand. They beamed at each other while posing for the click. Huma and Rachit also graced a Diwali party organized by Emmay Entertainment.
In one picture, Rachit put his hand on the waist of Huma as they smiled before the camera. For the functions, Huma wore a black and golden saree, whereas Rachit wore a black kurta along with corresponding pajamas.
Huma and Rachit had been dating each other; there were rumors about it. Last month, a Hindustan Times source informed us, "Huma and Rachit have been dating for some time now as a couple, and on Sunday, he proposed to her in a private proposal, and she accepted. It was a small group affair that happened in the US. They haven't decided yet when they plan on making it official by declaring it in public."
They were seen together at Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's get-together for Ed Sheeran in March 2024. The gossip picked up steam when their friend-singer, Akasa Singh, posted a picture with the couple. She captioned, "Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night."

Rachit has trained actors like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Vicky Kaushal. He began acting with a role in the series Karmma Calling.
Huma will appear in Single Salma with Sunny Singh and Shreyas Talpade. The movie is helmed by Nachiket Samant. Huma will be visible in the fourth season of Maharani. Directed by Puneet Prakash, the new season will come out on November 7 on Sony LIV.
