And Netflix re-enters on the highly anticipated Wednesday Season 2 on 6 August 2025. The gothic comedy-mystery finds itself back at Nevermore Academy, where Jenna Ortega further settles awkwardly into the role of Wednesday Addams. There are certainly more dark topics this season, along with new supernatural hurdles, as she faces several visions and family secrets that will keep fans at the edge of their seats.

Salakaar releases on Jio Hotstar

On 8 August, is a story of two timelines, 1978 and 2025, that narrates the mission of an Indian deep-cover agent who had stopped a Pakistani nuclear project years ago. The stakes of espionage are extraordinary with moral complexities, blending political tension into personal stakes, and the show features Mouni Roy and Naveen Kasturia in lead roles.

Arabia Kadali releases on Amazon Prime Video

Premiering on 8th August, a Telugu-language series conceptualised by Krish Jagarlamudi and directed by Surya Kumar, which tells the tale of fishermen who accidentally cross international borders into prison overseas. Solidarity, survival, and the bill paid by humanity for mistakes less foreseen take center stage as the plot thickens. The high-tension narrative sees Satya Dev and Anandhi lead the cast promising some emotionally charged drama with legal and cultural chaos to backdrop the story.

Love Hurts streams on Jio Hotstar

From 7 August, is also new. The show features stars such as Ke Huy Quan, Ariana DeBose, Daniel Wu, and the likes, while it narrates a story of a former criminal-turned-realty agent drawn back to confrontation with his past as an ex-con partner re-enters his life. This ensemble cast promises a gritty, emotionally charged exploration of redemption, trust, and betrayal.

Mayasabha - The Rise of Titans

Mayasabha across the week rightly caps off its star offerings for this week. This forgettable Telugu political drama goes live on 7 Aug on SonyLIV. Divya Dutta makes her Telugu debut in this series which delineates the local power tussles, ever-shifting allegiances, and, well, the costs of ambition.

Thus, international flavor fares alongside the Indian storytelling sensibility in today's OTT slate. Wednesday Season 2 will appeal to those peculiarities of fandom steeped in quirky supernatural comedy and then perhaps also enjoy an altogether different kind of suspenseful dive into intelligence and national security with Salakaar. Arabia Kadali brings intensity and empathy in its portrayal of the commonplace, disrupted by extraordinary circumstances. Love Hurts is character-centered personal drama, while Mayasabha adds political intrigue to the regional audience.
