
‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ Set to Release on OTT
Fans are eagerly awaiting the OTT release of ‘Mahavatar Narsimha,’ India's first 3D animated devotional action film, which was a box office hit. The film, which has its roots in Indian mythology, combines a spiritual storyline with stunning animation.
Though the exact release date isn’t confirmed, the film is expected to drop on OTT platforms by late September 2025. Made under Hombale Films & Kleem Productions, directed by Ashwin Kumar, has set a new benchmark for 3D animated films in India.
The official release date for OTT has not yet been disclosed. But it's probably going to follow the tradition of 60 days after the theatrical release.
The movie will be available online by late September 2025, as it was released in theatres on July 25, 2025. This schedule aligns with other recent blockbusters' digital distribution plans.

The OTT platform has not been revealed by the creators. However, given its popularity and scope, "Mahavatar Narsimha" is probably going to be available on a major streaming service.
JioHotstar, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video are a few potential competitors. Soon, a formal announcement is anticipated.
The entire actor list has not been released, however, the movie contains strong voice acting. The film, which was produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai and directed by Ashwin Kumar, features excellent animation and a complex plot.
Indian animation has advanced thanks to the efforts of its production companies, Hombale Films and Kleem Productions.

The story tells the mythology of Hiranyakashipu, a demon king seeking immortality. When his son Prahlada becomes a devotee of Lord Vishnu, a violent battle arises.
Vishnu defeats Hiranyakashipu by using the Narsimha avatar, a lion-man hybrid, to overthrow his protective boon as his tyranny advances.
