Mahavatar Narsimha, an animated mythological film from Hombale flicks and produced by Kleem Productions, has made a strong debut at the Hindi box office. Released nationwide over the weekend, the film earned ₹ 11.35 crore over three days, which is emotional for an animated film in India.
Mahavatar Narsimha Experiences Massive Box Office Jump
The filmmakers reported a 400% increase in box office profit from Friday to Sunday. It began with ₹ 1.35 crore on Friday, rose by 150 to ₹ 3.25 crore on Saturday, and also jumped again by 110 on Sunday, bringing in between ₹ 6.50 crore and ₹ 7 crore.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the film is based on the myth of Lord Vishnu’s Narsimha icon, a figure celebrated in Hindu traditions. Its engaging story and high-quality vitality have reverberated with families, particularly young cult, furnishing both entertainment and educational assignments.
Theatres responded to the growing demand by adding showtimes significantly — from 800 shows on Friday, to 1,100 on Saturday, and reaching 2,000 on Sunday. This increase shows the film’s rising fashionability and positive word- of- mouth. Beforehand estimates suggest that Monday’s earnings may indeed exceed Friday’s, indicating strong interest heading into the week.

Mahavatar Narsimha isn’t just a single film. Directors Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai have blazoned an ambitious plan for a multi-film animated ballot under the Mahavatar banner. The unborn flicks will concentrate on other godly incarnations of Vishnu, creating a grand mythological cinematic macrocosm.
The forthcoming titles include, Mahavatar Parshuram( 2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan( 2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh( 2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda( 2033) and Mahavatar Kalki( 2035 – 2037).
