Kapil Sharma’s café in Surrey, Canada, has come under gunfire for the second time in a month. This time, gangster Goldy Dhillon of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has allegedly claimed responsibility. A Facebook post, circulating on social media, shows Dhillon admitting to the attack at Kap’s Café and issuing a direct warning to the comedian. The post threatens another strike, possibly in Mumbai, if Sharma does not respond to their calls. Police in Mumbai are verifying the authenticity of this claim.

Gang Leader Issues Threat Online

In the viral Facebook post, Dhillon wrote in Hindi and Punjabi, invoking “Jai Shri Ram” and “Sat Sri Akal.” He declared that his gang took responsibility for the firing in Surrey. He claimed they had called Sharma, but the comedian did not answer. As a result, they “had to take action.” The post warned that if Sharma continued to ignore calls, the next attack would take place in Mumbai.

Details of the Canada Shooting

The latest shooting happened on Thursday morning at Kap’s Café, located in Surrey, British Columbia. The café is co-owned by Kapil Sharma and his wife, Ginni Chatrath. A video from the scene went viral, capturing the sound of at least 25 gunshots. This incident follows a similar attack on July 10, which authorities linked to the Laddi gang. That group is associated with the banned Khalistani terrorist outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).

Kapil Sharma’s Response

Last week, after the first attack, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath shared a video of officials visiting the café. In the post, they expressed gratitude for the support from Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke, the Surrey Police Service, and other authorities. Their caption carried a strong message against violence, stating, “United we stand against violence. We’re truly grateful.”

Police Investigation Continues

While Dhillon’s online confession has intensified the matter, authorities are yet to confirm its authenticity. The back-to-back attacks have raised serious concerns over the safety of the comedian’s overseas business venture. Both Canadian and Indian police agencies are actively monitoring the situation.
