Keith Urban recently abandoned a Nicole Kidman-themed song and lost his wedding band as he took the stage for the first time since the actress sought a divorce, dissolving their almost 20-year marriage. On Thursday, the country singer took the stage at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa., for his first concert since the couple's breakup dominated the headlines.
Prior to his performance, the "Somewhere In My Car" artist was spotted landing on a private plane for his latest destination on the "High and Alive World Tour."
Urban was not wearing his wedding ring at the concert, although he did feature a photo of the 58-year-old Oscar winner and their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, in a hypothetical slideshow onscreen during his 2024 song, "Heart Like a Hometown," according to a fan-recorded clip on X. The Aussie artist was accompanied on stage by his regular core band, though Thursday night's performance included one big twist, as Urban had dropped his 2017 hit "The Fighter" from his set list, even though he had been singing the song consistently throughout his live performances.
During his own gig just days after Kidman applied for divorce, Urban replaced a love song lyric about Kidman in the course of performing his 2017 hit "The Fighter." The love song, which includes Carrie Underwood and was written about his affair with Kidman, had Urban replace one of the lines of his about his newly estranged wife to refer to his "utility player," Maggie Baugh, who was performing with him.

The original lyric is “When they’re trying to get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter.” But Urban instead sang, “When they’re trying to get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.” Baugh, 25, shared an Instagram clip of the moment on Sept. 26, three days before news of Urban and Kidman’s split, and wrote in her caption, “Did he just say that?” News broke that the “Babygirl” star and country hitmaker are separating after nearly 20 years of marriage on Monday.
The "Big Little Lies" star and Urban are already separated, as "Keith has bought his own place in Nashville and moved out of their home," other sources explained to TMZ.
