Actor Kate Mansi is set to bid farewell to the popular daytime soap opera General Hospital after portraying Kristina Corinthos Davis for three years. According to reports, Mansi’s final episodes will air in June, marking the end of a memorable chapter in her television career.

Mansi joined General Hospital in 2023, taking over the role of Kristina Corinthos Davis from Lexi Ainsworth. Her portrayal quickly resonated with viewers and critics alike, earning her a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2025.

The actress is no stranger to daytime television success. Before joining General Hospital, she spent nearly a decade on NBC’s Days of Our Lives, where she played Abigail Deveraux. Her acclaimed performance earned her a Daytime Emmy Award in 2017 and established her as one of the genre’s most recognized stars.

Beyond acting, Mansi also explored directing during her tenure on General Hospital, helming two episodes of the long-running series. The show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, praised the actress and expressed support for her decision to move on.

“We love Kate and support her decision to leave,” Valentini said, adding that the door would always remain open for her return in the future. He also acknowledged the significant contribution she made to the show over the past three years.

Outside the soap opera world, Mansi has built a diverse acting portfolio. She appeared in the drama series Casa Grande and reprised her involvement in the recently released film adaptation of the same title. She also headlined the NBC miniseries Days of Our Lives: Chad and Abby in Paris and starred in the independent feature Legend of the Muse.

Most recently, Mansi appeared in the film Casa Grande, directed by Juan Pablo Arias Munoz and featuring a cast that includes Lou Diamond Phillips, John Pyper-Ferguson, Christina Moore and Madison Lawlor.

As fans prepare to say goodbye to her character on General Hospital, many will be watching closely to see what projects the Emmy-winning actress takes on next. Her departure marks the end of a significant era for the soap opera, while opening the door to new opportunities in her evolving career.
