The superstar couple Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are now a family of five. Their third child, a girl named Rocki Irish Mayers, was born on September 13, 2025. Rihanna revealed the news on social media, only months after her show-stopping pregnancy reveal at the Met Gala.
Rihanna posted a sweet photo of herself holding the baby along with the caption, "Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025," on Instagram to confirm the news. The name “Rocki” is believed to honor the baby’s father, ASAP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers.. It is thought that the name "Irish" was chosen as a tribute to Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, who is of Barbadian-Irish ancestry, creating a lovely fusion of both parents' cultures.
It appears the birth was a wonderful surprise. In a recent interview, ASAP Rocky had expressed his strong desire for a girl but revealed that they had chosen not to find out the baby's sex before birth. He had shared, “Third time, we don't want to know until, you know. I feel like it's going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two... I hope it's a baby girl, man. I need that.” The arrival of Rocki Irish Mayers has now granted his wish, adding a daughter to their family of boys.

The new baby girl joins her two older brothers, creating a lively household. Rihanna and Rocky are already parents to two boys, three-year-old RZA Athelston Mayers and two-year-old Riot Rose Mayers. Sources close to the couple had previously indicated that this expansion was always part of the plan. Following Rihanna's Met Gala appearance where she debuted her baby bump in a custom Marc Jacobs suit, a source told PEOPLE that the couple was "thrilled to be growing their family." The insider added, "Rihanna has always wanted a big family... They wanted to have their children close together in age, so that they could grow up together and share a close bond." The birth of Rocki fulfills this dream of a large, closely-knit family.
