The buzz around Drishyam 3 continues to grow as fans eagerly await the next chapter in the blockbuster franchise led by Mohanlal. However, one detail that has caught everyone’s attention is the absence of a Hindi release alongside the Malayalam version, despite the film being planned as a major pan-India launch.

According to reports, the makers have deliberately chosen not to release a dubbed Hindi version of Mohanlal’s film in order to avoid direct competition with Drishyam star Ajay Devgn and his upcoming Hindi adaptation of Drishyam 3. The decision is believed to be a strategic move aimed at giving both industries their own space and audience.

The Malayalam version will continue the gripping journey of Georgekutty, while the Hindi remake will once again bring Vijay Salgaonkar back to the big screen for Bollywood audiences. By avoiding simultaneous releases, the makers hope to prevent confusion among viewers and allow both versions to enjoy individual success.

Speaking to ANI, producer Kumar Mangat Pathak revealed that Panorama Studios’ interest in Malayalam cinema began during the lockdown. He shared that the team spent months exploring Malayalam films and was impressed by the quality and variety of storytelling.

He explained that after extensive research and meetings with writers and filmmakers, Panorama Studios decided to enter Malayalam cinema. The collaboration with Mohanlal and other industry figures eventually led to the production of Drishyam 3 and several future projects.

Producer Abhishek Pathak also confirmed that Ajay Devgn’s Hindi adaptation is expected to release on October 2, a date that has now become strongly associated with the Drishyam franchise.

The mutual respect between the Malayalam and Hindi film industries appears to be playing a key role in shaping the release strategy, ensuring that both versions receive the spotlight they deserve.
