Awez Darbar, the popular social media influencer and Bigg Boss 19 contestant, is facing cheating allegations from multiple sources while the allegations surfaced amidst his ongoing journey in the Bigg Boss house and recently, Splitsvilla contestant Shubhi Joshi came forward with a shocking revelation, indirectly exposing Awez for his alleged two-timing behavior.
Shubhi Joshi’s Shocking Revelations
In an interview with Filmygyan, Shubhi Joshi dropped a bombshell also she confessed that she was seeing someone after her stint in Splitsvilla 15, without directly naming Awez Darbar. When asked if this person was a contestant on Bigg Boss, she nodded affirmatively. She explained that their connection had deepened over several months, and despite her efforts, the man was the one leading the relationship, constantly telling her that she was “special.” However, the situation took a turn when Shubhi learned that the same person was texting her friend to meet up behind her back.

When confronted, the man claimed he wanted to hurt Shubhi by creating jealousy. His reasoning? He allegedly believed things weren’t working out between them, so he decided to text her friend in a bid to make her feel bad while this explanation left Shubhi shocked and devastated.

Shubhi Joshi’s claims quickly spread across social media, with netizens voicing their opinions and some criticized Awez Darbar for his actions, calling it an act of betrayal, especially since he is in a committed relationship with Nagma Mirajkar and others questioned Shubhi’s timing and motives, suggesting she was attempting to create controversy for a potential spot on Bigg Boss. One user pointed out, “Jab tak Bigg Boss nahi gaya woh, tab tak chup-chhaap baithe the?” suggesting that Shubhi was trying to gain attention. Others mocked her, saying, “Pehle Splitsvilla mein iska connection tha, ab Bigg Boss mein ho gaya.”
Zaid Darbar Defends His Brother
In response to the allegations, Zaid Darbar, Awez’s brother, stepped in to defend him. During an episode of Bigg Boss, Amaal Malik and Baseer Ali accused Awez of cheating on his girlfriend with two other girls. Zaid expressed his frustration, stating that personal issues should not be brought into the Bigg Boss game. He reaffirmed his full support for his brother, claiming that the people making these allegations were not entirely innocent either.

Awez and Shubhi’s Past Connection
The story between Shubhi and Awez began last year, during the months between August and December. Shubhi revealed that they had known each other for three years, having met at a modeling event. However, it was only recently that their bond deepened. Shubhi admitted that she thought Awez was dating someone at the time, but he assured her that he wasn’t and despite the distance between them, with Shubhi in Bengaluru and Awez in Mumbai, they kept in touch. Shubhi, who made it clear that she wasn’t into casual flings, felt special and believed their connection was more serious.
