Actor and comedian Robo Shankar passed away in Chennai at the age of 46 after a tough battle with liver and kidney complications. Earlier this week, he was admitted to a private hospital on OMR following a diagnosis of jaundice and a fainting episode at his home. Despite intensive medical care, his condition worsened, and he died Thursday evening around 8:30 pm.
Robo Shankar is an actor and comedian of India who mainly features in Tamil films and television. He was born on 24 December 1978, and he is known for his special style and impressive comic timing and he became the heartthrob of the world of entertainment.
Robo Shankar's formal education can be said not to be publicized highly but since childhood, his inclination towards performing arts and mimicry had been his course defining thing in shaping his own career.

Robo Shankar was first much encouraged on STAR Vijay's comedy contest Kalakkapovathu Yaaru from which he earned quite a few audience favorites in his times. Being television personnel his journey in tv grows as he hosts and also plays other comedy shows.
Shankar has married with Priyanka Shankar, who happens to be making her debut in films with Kanni Maadam in 2020.
