Bollywood has experienced its fair share of on-set gossip, but one of the lesser-known incidents included Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra fighting over actor Darshan Kumaar. Famous for his dramatic opposite roles in NH10 and Mary Kom, Darshan's intense on-screen presence fueled a fight between the two actresses, so much so that people were left wondering what actually transpired.

Who Is Darshan Kumaar & His Famous Roles

Darshan Kumaar is a Bollywood actor who has played very contrasting characters. In NH10, he had played an aggressive and bitter bad guy and in Mary Kom, he played a sweet and caring husband opposite Priyanka Chopra. These contrasting roles revealed two very contrasting sides of him and influenced the way his co-actors perceived him.

The Argument Between Anushka & Priyanka

The alleged disagreement occurred while shooting Dil Dhadakne Do. Anushka Sharma had felt that Darshan appeared to be rude, perhaps because she had just watched him perform in NH10, where his on-screen persona was very violent. Priyanka Chopra, however, supported him, mentioning she had seen his gentler side working with him in Mary Kom.

Darshan Explains His Acting Process

Darshan went on to clarify that he was still "in character" at that time, and that intensity could have been misinterpreted. He also disclosed that during the filming of NH10, Anushka herself requested him to enact some scenes more harshly, like pulling her hair, in order to make them appear real. Despite the pain, she felt it added reality to the performance.
