Anupam Kher is currently on a vacation to Switzerland and recently shared a heart-touching moment from his trip. During his visit to the Jungfrau Railway station, he stumbled upon a train named after legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra. Thrilled, Kher reminisced about the time spent with Chopra, calling it "the richest time" of his life.
He added that to see a train named in his honor at such a beautiful spot is not only a personal tribute paid to the filmmaker, but it is also a matter of pride for the entire country.
In the video shared on Instagram, The Kashmir Files star said, “What an amazing feeling to have Yash ji’s name on this train in Switzerland. Yash ji, you are great.
The time that I spent with you is the richest time of my life, and to see your name on the train, which is…. Kamaal hai, Yash Ji, I miss you very much. You are the best director. What an achievement you have.
This achievement is for the entire Indian citizenry to have a train named after you at the height of this snowy, amazing place. Yash Chopra, the great, Yash Chopra, the greatest."
Anupam Kher added in the caption, "YASH CHOPRA AND SWITZERLAND: The fact that ONE person's cinematic vision can change the tourism industry of a country is UNBELIEVABLE, and that is exactly what I witnessed in my trip here. Almost every location has a Yash Chopra stamp in Switzerland.
His portraits, his statue, trains named after him, Bollywood restaurants, signboards in Hindi, and thousands of Indian tourists. I am deeply humbled and proud that I got to spend so much time with him, apart from being part of so many YRF films. Yash ji, you will always be the GREATEST."

His fascination for the country prompted the Swiss government to honor him with a special train on the Jungfrau Railway. In 2011, they named one of their Stadler-built trains the "Yash Chopra Train" as a tribute to the legendary filmmaker.
Not only the train, but also a life-sized statue of the legendary filmmaker in the Kursaal area, cast in pure bronze and weighing 350 kilos, has become very popular among visitors, who like to take selfies with it.
