What started as a late-night fire scare on the Son of Sardaar 2 set ended in laughter.
As the release date for Son of Sardaar 2 inches closer, the film's team has been actively promoting the upcoming comedy-action entertainer. But amid all the press and excitement, the cast recently took a lighter detour, reminiscing about an unforgettable moment from the shoot.
As a bit of smoke began to waft near the set, crew members rushed into action to manage the situation. Just as tension began to rise, Ajay, in his signature composed tone, casually remarked,
“Bas karo, main thand rakhta hoon!”
(“Stop it already, I keep my cool!”)
And just like that, the atmosphere shifted. What could have escalated into chaos turned into a moment of shared laughter. That one spontaneous remark not only broke the tension but also reminded everyone why Ajay remains a beloved figure off-screen too.
In a video shared by Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan recounted a late-night shoot day that ended with an unexpected fire alarm. Exhausted from the day’s work, the cast had retreated to their rooms. Suddenly, Ravi was jolted awake by a blaring alarm. Still groggy, he rushed into the hallway in his nightwear, only to find fellow crew members standing bewildered in the corridor.
What could have been a tense, frightening moment was diffused immediately by Ajay Devgn. Emerging with his trademark calm and impeccable timing, Ajay dropped a witty one-liner that had everyone bursting into laughter. Ravi shared that the mood shifted in an instant panic gave way to relief, horror turned into humor, and it all became an unforgettable moment on set.
A spiritual sequel to the 2012 original, this time crossing cultures and geographies—from Punjab to Scotland.
Ajay Devgn returns as Jassi, with a star-studded ensemble including Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Chunky Panday, Deepak Dobriyal, and more.
