The 71st National Film Awards 2025 celebrated the best movies and performances in Indian cinema today in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu gave away the awards at Vigyan Bhawan. Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey shared the Best Actor award.
Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for her role in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. For SRK, this was his first National Award after a career of over 30 years, making it a very special moment for his fans.

Rani Mukherji's win for Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway also drew applause, showing that talent and perseverance continue to be honoured at the national level.
