Several England players have made strides in the latest ICC Women’s ODI rankings following their impressive performances in the ongoing series against Ireland. With a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series, England has dominated on the field.

Veteran batter Tammy Beaumont showcased her skill with an unbeaten 150 in the second ODI in Belfast, moving up one place to 13th in the Women’s ODI batter rankings. Beaumont, who now holds the third-most centuries in women’s ODI cricket, continues to impress.

Stand-in captain Kate Cross climbed to second in the Women’s ODI bowler rankings after a remarkable six-wicket haul in the series opener, raising her points from 686 to 703. She now trails only Sophie Ecclestone, who holds the top spot with 778 points.

Cross and Beaumont have delivered standout performances after being left out of England’s Women’s T20 World Cup squad. Young seamer Lauren Filer also saw a significant rise, jumping 14 places to reach 60th in the bowler rankings.

For Ireland, Freya Sargent rose 11 spots to 89th, and Orla Prendergast moved up 17 positions to 91st.

Additionally, South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp reclaimed her title as the top-ranked all-rounder, while Cross advanced to 12th in the all-rounder rankings.

England easily chased down 211 runs in the first ODI, securing a four-wicket win. In the second match, England overwhelmed Ireland with a 275-run victory, dismissing the Irish side for just 45 runs. The final ODI is set for Wednesday at Stormont in Belfast.
