On March 17, Noida police arrested Yadav in a case where he and five others were accused of selling snake venom at rave parties in the National Capital Region. Additionally, on March 8, Sagar Thakur filed an assault complaint against Yadav. A video of the incident allegedly shows Yadav assaulting Thakur at Southpoint Mall in Gurgaon.

Yadav and his associates were accused under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including punishment for rioting, police to prevent cognisable offences, procedure when Magistrate finds a case should be committed, and punishment for criminal intimidation.
