SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has recently challenged Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg for a fight. ‘Thus, making the internet excited.
This statement was made at an event, where Musk was present for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to the congress.
Talking to reporters, Musk said ‘I’ll fight Zuckerberg any place, any time, any rules.’ He said it with a smile.

Later, this dare quickly came under people’s radar on the Thread, with one user saying ‘Let’s go. Fight of the year. A true heavyweight battle.’
Another expressing similar enthusiasm also said ‘Looks like the tech giants are taking their rivalry to the next level! Who knew the battle for digital dominance would turn into a test of physical prowess.’
However, there were another set of users who said it’s nothing serious with one saying ‘Someone’s going to ask Zuck about this, and he’ll probably just say Musk isn’t serious, so it’s not worth discussing.’
Another said ‘Not this again. We’re still waiting for the last time they said they’d fight.’
Meanwhile reacting to Musk’s challenge statement Zuckerberg said, ‘Are we really doing this again?’
This statement comes around the time, when in a previous year in July 2023, both the company shared a tension. Especially following the launch of text conversation app Thread.
As a result, Musk led X wrote a cease & desist letter to Meta, making an allegation that the former company has utilized Twitter’s trade secrets and various intellectual property in an improper manner.
Notably, this dare was made following the praise he showered on Mark for the launch of recent AI model Llama 3.1.
Answering to Andrej Karpathy’s post, who is an ex-director of Tesla said ‘It’s impressive, and Zuck deserves recognition for making it open-source.’
