Chartered Accountants Final Exam Schedule Postponed For Diwali; See New Dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a postponement of the CA Final examination schedule for the November 2024 session due to the Diwali festival.

However, the dates for the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination remain unchanged. The INTT – AT is set for November 9 and 11, 2024, while the IRM exam will take place on November 5, 7, 9, and 11, 2024.

Revised Schedule for CA Final Examinations

The CA Final exams are now rescheduled to occur from November 3 to November 13. Group I examinations will be held on November 3, 5, and 7, 2024, with Group II exams scheduled for November 9, 11, and 13, 2024.

An official notice from ICAI stated, “It may further be noted that there will be no change in the examination schedule if any day of the examination mentioned above is declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government/Local Authority.”

The examination fees for students at Indian centers are set at Rs 1,800 for a single group and Rs 3,300 for both groups. For students taking the exam at overseas centers, the fees are US$ 325 for a single group and US$ 550 for both groups. For centers in Bhutan and Kathmandu, the fees are Rs 2,200 for a single group and Rs 4,000 for both groups.
