The Ministry of Education on Saturday, revealed the formation of a distinguished committee of experts tasked with overseeing the transparent, efficient, and equitable administration of examinations amidst concerns surrounding NEET and UGC-NET.
Chaired by Dr. K Radhakrishnan, former head of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and current chairman of the board of governors at IIT Kanpur, the committee will focus on proposing reforms to enhance the examination process, strengthen data security measures, and evaluate the structure and operations of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Other members of the committee include Dr. Randeep Guleria, former director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS); Prof. BJ Rao, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Hyderabad; Prof. Ramamurthy K, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras; Pankaj Bansal, co-Founder of People Strong and Board Member of Karmayogi Bharat; and Prof. Aditya Mittal, Dean of Student Affairs at IIT Delhi.
Govind Jaiswal, joint secretary at the Ministry of Education, will serve as the member secretary of the committee.
