Results for the Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Force Common Entrance Test (AFCAT) 01/2025 have been officially released. The findings were released on March 17, 2025, on the official AFCAT site, afcat.cdac.in.

Thousands of applicants showed across several testing centers throughout the country for the AFCAT 01/2025 exam, which run on February 22 and 23, 2025. The IAF seeks to fill 336 Group &’A&’ Gazetted Officer posts via this recruitment effort. Candidates who pass the test will advance to the following stage of the selection process.

Examination schedule and structure for AFCAT 2025

The AFCAT 01/2025 exam was conducted online in two daily shifts. It featured 100 multiple-choice questions, carrying a total of 300 marks. The test assessed candidates in key areas such as:

  • Reasoning
  • Military Aptitude

Each wrong answer was punished one point using a negative scoring scheme; the test lasted two hours.

For Qualified Applicants, What’s Next?

Those who pass the AFCAT 2025 test will move on to the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. At this point candidates are assessed on communication ability, personality, and leadership. After some possible finalists are chosen for instruction at the esteemed Air Force Academy, they will have a medical check.
