The Education Department is actively preparing for the successful implementation of the Surya Namaskar program in schools on February 15. Education Minister Madan Dilawar, during a meeting in Jodhpur on Friday, stated that on Surya Saptami, this event will set new records in the Sun City, which is the state’s pride.
Presiding over a meeting organized to discuss the preparations for the Surya Namaskar program in Jodhpur, the Education Minister directed officials to ensure full participation and conduct the event on a grand scale. Dilawar emphasized that the event should not be limited to the Education Department but should involve all departments, common people, and special individuals alike. He urged everyone to participate enthusiastically in Surya Namaskar on February 15 as part of their daily routine.
The Education Minister highlighted the greater significance of this event in Jodhpur, known as the Sun City. Therefore, he suggested making the program grand and extensive. He urged to establish a new identity for the entire state by positioning Suryanagari as a pioneer in this event. He emphasized the inclusion of people from both urban and rural areas in this event.
The district administration assured the Education Minister of ensuring the successful organization of the Surya Namaskar program in line with the state government’s vision. On this occasion, Sursagar MLA Devendra Joshi, Regional Commissioner B.L. Mehera, Range IG Jaynarayan Sheor, and District Collector Gaurav Agrawal, along with representatives and officials, were present.
