The Commissioner of Rajasthan School Education Board and State Project Director, Avichal Chaturvedi, has issued instructions to conduct all activities related to PM Shri Schools promptly. He emphasised that all activities related to PM Shri Schools should be given top priority. Detailed directives have been issued by the board in this regard, and a budget allocation has been made for these activities.
Chaturvedi further urged school administrators and department officials to monitor all tasks and activities promptly. These directives were issued during a video conferencing session convened to review the progress of various programs, including overall education, Stars Project, PM Shri Scheme, and other activities.
The State Project Director directed the departmental officials to regularly and rigorously monitor the field activities of Rajasthan Education Initiative (REI) partners working in all districts. He emphasized the need for sending regular reports to the state headquarters.
Chaturvedi stressed the importance of publicising information about the activities and accomplishments of these institutions in schools. He also provided guidance on organizing health check-up camps for children with special needs, ensuring proper arrangements for on-the-spot examinations, and referring children to the next level as per their requirements.
Additionally, Chaturvedi instructed that information related to all components of the School Education Board should be sent together on the 7th of each month. The review also covered activities such as annual festivals and award distribution ceremonies in schools for the academic year 2023-24, training of Anganwadi workers in districts, progress reports on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Girls’ Hostel activities, updating the progress of the National Invention Campaign and field visits by PM Shri School students, Nipun Bharat Mission, updating the evaluation of students using the Holistic Report Card, implementation of the School Readiness Program, operation of digital libraries and smart classrooms in PM Shri Schools, progress update of the established robotics lab under the Stars Project, and updating the weekly timetable under Mission Start. Progress in activities related to the Transport Voucher Scheme and the Vocational Education Program was also reviewed.
In the video conference, apart from the additional State Project Director Anil Paliwal, officials from the School Education Board and officers at the CD, DEO, and PEO levels from the districts were also present.
