The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that a 4.5 Richter magnitude earthquake was felt in Tehri, Uttarkhand, on Sunday.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.5, Occurred on 06-11-2022, 08:33:03 IST, Lat: 30.67 & Long: 78.60, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: 17km ESE of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand,” NCS tweeted.
Earlier on November 2, the earthquake jolts were felt near Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, at a depth of 10 km and latitude and longitude of 23.28 and 80.35. On the Richter Scale, it registered at 3.9.
On November 2, tectonic plate movement was felt close to Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, and was measured at 3.7 on the Richter scale.
Additionally, on October 20, the NCS reported that a 3.5-magnitude earthquake was detected near Surat, Gujarat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was attending the launch of Mission LiFE in Kevadia.
