On World Tourism Day, the Department of Archeology and Museums has released an online ticket facility. An MoU has been signed with the Department of Information Technology and Communications (DOIT). Now tourists can book their tickets through an online medium.
This innovation will save time and cost.
The online ticket system allows ticket booking through digital mediums. The tickets can be booked through mobile app, website, QR code or e-Mitra for all the monuments and museums of Rajasthan.
Two or three booking windows have also been started at big museums and monuments of Rajasthan, through which entry cards can be obtained by making online payment. All domestic and foreign tourists will also get relief from long lines.
Archaeology and Museum Department officials said that the online ticketing services have been started on World Tourism Day, and tourists will no longer have to stand in long queues.
Rajasthan’s tourism is making innovations and given this, this service has been started after an online ticket trial.
Now the biggest objective is to establish the identity of Rajasthan across the world and connect different cultures.
