On Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sareen held a significant meeting with officials from various government departments. During the session, he directed the officials to ensure the swift progress of ongoing development projects and emphasized the importance of executing tasks correctly to ensure timely benefits for the public.
Conducting the meeting in the district administrative complex, DC Sareen instructed officials to provide immediate comprehensive reports on the status of all ongoing development projects in the district. He emphasized that the multi-million rupee development works underway in the district should be completed expeditiously for the convenience of the people. Sareen urged for accelerated efforts in completing all these projects within the minimum possible time frame and stressed that there should be no delays in project completion. He asserted that he would personally oversee the monitoring of development projects.
Sareen requested each department to submit a progress report within a day so that a clear picture of the current status of the projects could be obtained. This would enable prompt action based on the reports to expedite project completion. Officials were also encouraged to bring any issues or obstacles directly to his attention for swift resolution. DC Sareen instructed the heads of all departments to individually review these projects under their jurisdiction. In attendance at the meeting were Municipal Commissioner Aditya Uppal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh, and Major Dr. Amit Mahajan.
