Under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, and President of the Dubai Press Club, unveiled the Arab Media Summit. This initiative will serve as a central platform for significant media events organized by the Dubai Press Club, fostering knowledge exchange and dialogue within the media industry.
The Arab Media Summit will host prominent gatherings such as the 22nd Arab Media Forum from May 28 to 29, along with the second Arab Youth Media Forum scheduled for May 27. These events will operate under the umbrella of the Arab Media Summit, emphasizing collaboration and synergy within the media landscape.
During a press conference, Mona Ghanem Al Marri highlighted the Summit’s role as a catalyst for sharing ideas, expertise, and experiences vital to the media sector’s development and its contribution to regional aspirations. The Summit aims to engage media professionals in discussions on industry transformations, challenges, and responsibilities towards sustainable development.
The 22nd Arab Media Forum’s agenda, presented by the organizing committee led by Mona Ghanem Al Marri, promises insightful discussions on key political, economic, social, technological, and cultural developments shaping the media sector. The forum will gather influential figures from politics, media, and thought leadership across the UAE, the Arab world, and beyond.
Additionally, the Arab Youth Media Forum will focus on empowering the next generation of media professionals and influencers, featuring distinguished speakers such as Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Dr. Sultan AlNeyadi.
The Arab Media Summit will also showcase prestigious events like the 23rd Arab Media Award and the fourth Arab Social Media Influencers Award during the Arab Media Forum, recognizing excellence in media and honoring digital influencers.
With a comprehensive agenda comprising over 110 main, dialogue, and closed sessions, as well as workshops and side events, the Arab Media Summit anticipates engaging more than 4,000 participants, including renowned speakers and industry leaders. The events aim to explore emerging media trends, discuss regional and global challenges, and foster innovation and excellence in media practices.
