At around 10 AM, Ripal Panchal was speeding in his black Audi (license plate GJ18 BQ 6780) as he drove from ISKCON Bridge toward Ambli. According to eyewitness accounts, the driver lost control of his vehicle after speeding and collided with a series of cars. The first collision involved a Tata Harrier SUV, followed by a collision with a tempo. The Audi then slammed into another vehicle before rear-ending a Tata Nexon outside the Tata Motors showroom. The impact caused the Nexon to climb the divider.

In an apparent attempt to flee the scene, Panchal rammed his Audi into an iron gate, knocking over several bikes parked nearby. The car finally came to a halt after crashing into the bikes. Disturbingly, eyewitnesses reported that Panchal had also hit a woman riding a scooter with her friend, though no serious injuries were reported.
This happened on the Iskon-Ambli Road, one of the poshest area.

Following the crash, angry onlookers rushed to the scene, recording the entire incident on their phones. Panchal, who appeared to be unconscious, was later seen taking a drag from a cigarette, seemingly unaffected by the chaos around him. This infuriated the crowd, leading them to pull him out of the car and physically beat him. The locals then sat him on the road while waiting for the police to arrive.

Once law enforcement arrived, the driver was handed over to them. In footage captured by witnesses, Panchal appeared calm, mentioning that his lawyers would handle the situation. Police will conduct a medical test to confirm his blood alcohol levels and will take further legal action based on the findings.
The incident highlights the dangers of drunk driving and reckless behavior on the road. Though no fatalities were reported, the crash caused significant damage and injuries, drawing attention to the consequences of unsafe driving practices. Authorities are expected to take stern legal action against Panchal, who faces charges for his dangerous driving and endangering public safety.
