Collector Dr. Goswami announced new developments in a recent meeting aimed at boosting tourism in the Hadoti region. Starting now, the general public can enjoy Chambal Safari directly from Chambal Garden. Dr. Goswami emphasized the need to increase awareness about various tourist attractions in Hadoti, including the Mukundra Tiger Safari and its routes. He also revealed that fixed rates for film shooting on the Chambal River Front have been established, offering free initial shoots for foreign films and special rates for other types of commercial productions. Documentaries promoting Hadoti tourism will receive special permissions. During the meeting held at the Collectorate Auditorium, Deputy Director of the Tourism Department, Vikas Pandya, updated attendees on previous decisions. The Collector announced that stalls would be allocated to the Tourism Department at the upcoming Dussehra Fair, providing a central location for tourists to access information about Hadoti. Plans for the Hadoti Festival were also discussed. The Collector confirmed that the festival will take place soon in Kota, featuring local folk culture, artists, and cuisine. Additionally, a Literature Festival and a Food Festival will be part of the event, along with a Hadoti Talent Hunt competition aimed at engaging youth. Dr. Goswami expressed that these initiatives aim to promote Hadoti’s civilization, culture, and tourism on a global scale. He also released the book “Enchanting Hadoti,” published by the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan. Ashok Maheshwari, President of the Rajasthan Hotel Association, highlighted that Hadoti tourism received notable recognition at the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart, where a stall from the Hadoti region was set up for the first time. The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector Mukesh Chaudhary, Assistant Director of the Tourism Department Sandeep Srivastava, and representatives from the Hadoti Tourism Development Society, among other officials.
