During the closing night of the Republican National Convention, Donald Trump sparked controversy once again by referring to Covid-19 as the “China virus,” a term that drew enthusiastic applause from the audience. While reflecting on his presidency, Trump highlighted a $50 billion trade deal with China but dismissed its significance in light of the pandemic, stating, “I don’t even talk about it because of what happened with the China virus.”
