Under the chairmanship of Zilla Parishad Chairman Sunil Kumar, a meeting was held with Zilla Parishad members and officials to review the ongoing development works in the district. The Chairman directed the concerned officials to speed up the work and complete it within the stipulated time.
On this occasion, Vice President Pooja Rani, members Mandeep Singh, Rajendra Singh, Monica Devi, Roma Devi, Balvindra Chaudhary, Bahadur Rana, Mala Rani, and Sudarshan Renu were also present.
Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Gagandeep Singh explained in detail to the Zilla Parishad Chairman the development work done by the concerned departments one by one. Roads, schools, health services, drinking water, transport, mining, fisheries, electricity, sports, women and child development, horticulture, irrigation, and other basic facilities were discussed in detail during the meeting.
Mr. Gagandeep Singh also sought suggestions from the Zilla Parishad members regarding the works in their respective areas. He assured the Chairman that all officers will soon complete the pending work in their respective departments. Before this, the progress report was reviewed based on the instructions given in the last meeting. The Chairman directed that all officers should prioritize the completion of works in their respective areas so that the people in rural areas can benefit from the government’s public welfare schemes.
On this occasion, Deputy CEO Zilla Parishad Martina Mahajan, District Education Officer Satpal Kaushik, District Health Officer Neel Kamal, Executive Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department Sameer Sharma, Traffic Manager Vyom Sharma, Women and Child Development Officer Savita Nehra, and officials from other related departments were present.
