Bollywood ace director Karan Johar shared a heartfelt note after winning Filmfare awards for his film ‘Shershaah’. The movie ‘Shershaah’ won 7 awards at the 67th Filmfare Awards.

Sharing the note on Instagram Johar wrote, “Will always be eternally grateful to @sidmalhotra for bringing #shershaah to me! A film that he believed in so passionately! A film he performed so majestically! So brilliantly! Thanks, Sid! This will always be the crown of both our careers! The courageous tale of Capt Vikram Batra was an honor and privilege for (my partner in crime and content) @apoorva1972 and I to produce!.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director also thanked the director of ‘Shershaah’ and the Indian army.

“We thank the Indian Army and the Batra family for their abundant love and support… VISHNUVARDHAN for his supreme storytelling and detailed execution.. a director par excellence @somenmishra for standing tall and strong behind us through the journey!The gorgeous @kiaraaliaadvani for being the best ever! She was the soul of the film,” Johar said

Johar also expressed gratitude to all the back-end team of Dharma for their support and corporation and wrote, “@shabbirboxwalaofficial for being a super collaborator @azeemdayani for being the best curator of our outstanding music! ‘Shershaah’ won 7 awards at the 67th Filmfare awards for Best Action, Best Editing, Best Director, Best Film, Best Playback Singer – Male and Female, and Best Music Album awards.

Moreover, the film ‘Shershaah’ was directed by Vishnuvaradhan and emphasizes the life story of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra who fought bravely during the Kargil War in 1999 and laid his life for the country. The movie ‘Shershaah’ stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.

However, talking about Karan Johar’s work front he is currently busy on his next directorial project ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The movie stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and is scheduled to release on February 10, 2023.
