On Wednesday, on the occasion of Basant Panchami, the Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Vasudev Devnani, performed the worship and rituals of Goddess Saraswati in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, wishing for the prosperity and happiness of the state.
Devnani said that Basant Panchami, a symbol of new enthusiasm, new energy, and fresh inspiration, should enlighten everyone’s life with the light of knowledge, as represented by the bestower of knowledge, Goddess Saraswati.
Additionally, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly honoured the winners of the district-level karate competition in the Assembly by providing them with certificates. Vasudev Devnani also extended congratulations and best wishes to the winners of the Banipark Rose Garden Karate Club.
Paid homage to Shiv Charan Mathur, Sushma Swaraj and Pulwama martyrs.
Furthermore, Devnani offered floral tributes in the Assembly on the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Shiv Charan Mathur. He also paid tribute to the late former Minister Sushma Swaraj on her birth anniversary, stating that the late Swaraj served the nation with simplicity, diligence, patriotism, and public service.
Vasudev Devnani also offered heartfelt condolences to all the brave soldiers who attained martyrdom in the service of Mother India on the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama attack.
