In a recent notification issued by the Excise Department, liquor shops in Delhi will be closed on national holidays during October and November. The announcement outlines specific “dry days” when the sale of alcohol will be prohibited across the National Capital Territory.

List of Dry Days in October

According to the notification dated September 19, the following dates will be observed as dry days in October:

The notice also states that dry days will be enforced 48 hours before the end of polling, which means that the sale of liquor will be restricted from 6:00 PM on October 3 until 6:00 PM on October 5.

Exceptions to the Rule
