A speeding BMW Z4 crashed into a divider near Delhi Gate, leaving a 6th-grade boy injured. The car’s bumper and bonnet were severely damaged in the accident, which occurred when the vehicle lost control and skidded off the road.
The boy, who was a co-passenger in the car, suffered injuries when his head hit the dashboard. The driver, 20-year-old Sukhwinder Singh, was taken for a medical examination to determine if he was driving under the influence of alcohol. Singh, a resident of east Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar, had picked the boy up from school, according to the police.

Post-crash visuals show the BMW’s front bumper and bonnet severely damaged, with rods from the divider’s railing piercing through the bonnet. The car had landed on the divider, causing a commotion among other vehicles on the road. Car Registered to Notorious Individual, Police Investigating
The car was registered in the name of Aas Mohammad alias Ashu Pehlwan, who has been “exiled from Delhi for two years” and is prohibited from entering the national capital. The police said Pehlwan has been involved in several cases in the past. The authorities are currently investigating the CCTV footage and gathering more details about the car involved in the incident.
