The Delhi Unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongly condemns the Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal for their misleading propaganda about water supply from the Haryana government. The corrupt Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi has mortgaged the city to water mafias. Instead of seeking additional water from their ally Punjab government, they are asking the Haryana and Himachal Pradesh governments to make them appear uncooperative and defame the BJP and Congress-led state governments. “Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers are not mature enough to fulfil their responsibilities. They have always acted negligently when given responsibility, whether in the Delhi government or the municipal corporation.” said Harsh Malhotra, Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said while addressing the press conference that, as per the directives of the 52nd, 62nd, and 63rd meetings of the Yamuna Board on June 6th and 14th, Haryana is providing full water to Delhi. “If the Kejriwal government believes that less water is being received, they should approach the Yamuna Board, and the top leadership of the Delhi BJP will accompany them,” said the Delhi BJP president.
He added there is no water crisis in Delhi; rather, there is water corruption involving the entire Delhi government and Aam Aadmi Party. “We ask the Delhi government, if there is a water crisis, how are water tankers and 20-litre water cans available on every corner as soon as money is paid?” Said Virendra Sachdeva.
Harsh Malotara Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, said that, whenever the Aam Aadmi Party faces responsibility, they run away from it, whether in the Delhi government or the municipal corporation. He said, “Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers are not mature enough to fulfil their responsibilities. They have always acted negligently when given responsibility, whether in the Delhi government or the municipal corporation.”
